WVT&MC Machinery Day
To be advised at Stephen West’s property,
400 Morrinsville – Walton Road, Morrinsville.
9.30 am start.
The Machinery Day would allow the club to display
machinery other than standard tractors and bulldozers.
The machinery would include, but not limited to
stationary engines, two and four wheel garden tractors,
driven machines such as pumps, powered tools,
powered farm machines (chaff cutters, separators,
huskers, etc.), farming and associated tool etc.
In short, anything of interest that would engender
examination and discussion. This would also be an
opportunity for restorers to seek guidance and help.
Some of the machinery would be off loaded on to the
ground while others could be displayed
the deck of the transporter.
The venue (4 km SE of Morrinsville), is easily accessible
off the road. A little hard standing is available to assist
with unloading and loading, where necessary. There is
access to water for pumping and cooling.
This is a club activity and is not open to the general
public however Members from other Machinery clubs
would be welcome.
A front– end loader(s) could be available to assist with
unloading of machinery.

SPRING PLOUGHING.
This spring we will be able to plough some
50 acres or so at Mangateparu and
Te Puninga for Trevor Semmens.
Some of this may not happen at the
weekends, but there will be those who
can plough weekdays.
Arrive will a full tank of fuel and you will
go home with a full tank.
Bring your own lunch and no doubt a drop
of liquid at the end of the day.
Competition day will be later on in October.
Long time member Alan Wallace is having
his auction, September or October. We
will organise ploughing accordingly with
the aid of Brian and his club phone.
We will keep everybody up to date.
